Our Mission
FEEDING THE SOULS AND STOMACHS OF THOSE IN NEED IN ODESSA TEXAS
My Father’s House Odessa, TX, is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit street ministry serving people experiencing homelessness and others in need throughout Odessa, Texas.
Our mission is simple: We feed the souls and stomachs of those in need.
We meet both physical and spiritual needs by providing hot meals, blessing bags, prayer, encouragement, and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Our blessing bags include a biblical item, food, fruit. Sweet (no chocolate), water, hygiene and products.
Every Thursday at 4:30. We serve a hot meal, distribute blessing bags, and share a message from God’s Word at the Odessa Public Library park Noel Heritage Plaza. (301 w 5th st Odessa Texas 79761). We then visit the Salvation Army (810 EST 11th st Odessa Texas 79761) to distribute additional blessing bags and share another message.
We also serve monthly at Hope for the Homeless, where we distribute 200 blessing bags. We pray with and anoint those who request prayer.
My Father’s House Odessa, TX, distributes approximately 400 blessing bags every month. However, our ministry is about much more than providing food. We want every person we meet to know that they are seen, loved, and valued by God.

Through the generosity of our donors, volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners, we can continue sharing the love of Jesus while meeting practical needs.

Our Vision
BUILDING A TRANSITION CENTER FOR THOSE IN NEED MY FATHERS HOUSE IS A STREET MINISTRY SERVING THE ODESSA COMMUNITY FEEDING THE SOULS AND STOMACHS OF THOSE IN NEED.
THROUGH BLESSING BAGS, PRAYER, AND SHARING THE GOSPEL, WE MEET PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE - ON THE STREETS AND IN THE COMMUNITY. OUR NEXT STEP IN THIS MISSION IS TO CREATE A TRANSITION CENTER WITH GOD LEADING THE WAY, IT WILL TAKE US ALL WORKING TOGETHER. THE VISION FOR THIS CENTER IS TO PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE WHERE INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOUSELESSNESS CAN BEGIN REBUILDING THEIR LIVES. THE TRANSITION CENTER WILL
HELP PEOPLE MOVE FROM SURVIVAL TO STABILITY BY OFFERING SUPPORT, GUIDANCE, AND CONNECTION TO RESOURCES. OUR VISION INCLUDES:
